WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - In a field that featured 14 of the top-15 teams in the country, the fourth-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team placed fourth at the NCAA Division III Preview hosted by Christopher Newport University at Kingsmill Resort. Illinois Wesleyan was one of two teams in the 18-team field to see two place inside the top-10 individually. No. 2 Huntingdon held on for a wire-to-wire win with a three-round score of 834. No. 9 Kenyon took second (836), while sixth-ranked Emory (841), No. 4 IWU (843), and No. 3 Carnegie Mellon (847) rounded out the top-five.
Illinois Wesleyan returns to action next month, Oct. 5-6, at the Wabash Invitational. The Titans will enjoy a Homecoming weekend worth of festivities Saturday, Oct. 3, including a banner drop recognizing last season's runner-up finish. The 2025-26 squad will then be honored in between the first and second quarters of IWU's football game.
