Heartland Golf put together a solid tournament at the NJCAA Fall Preview behind a tied-for-fifth-place finish from Luca Bianchi. The Hawks finished in third place out of 20 NJCAA teams. They totaled a score of 2-over-par during the tournament.
T5 Luca Bianchi (-5)
Bianchi put together a solid tournament, finishing 5-under-par after three impressive rounds. In round one, he shot a 71 (-1) with four birdies, including a timely birdie on hole 17 to put him at 1-under-par for the day. In round two, he shot a 70 with four birdies. While it was a more up-and-down round, the four birdies helped him get to 2-under-par on the day. Outside of one double bogey, his third day was his best, with five birdies. He birdied the last hole to put him at 5-under-par for the tournament.

Bianchi and Heartland Golf will be at it again in the 2026 Cougar Invitational at the Metamora Fields Golf Club next Tuesday and Wednesday.
