June 27 was National Bingo Day with regular bingo held during the afternoon and card bingo played in the evening. Residents' families are always welcome to join their loved ones during an activity with several little ones joining their great-grandparents recently at bingo.

The first two resident rooms started their remodeling process recently, thanks to some of last year's Homecoming Weekend efforts. More resident rooms are planned for the future with money that comes in from this year's Aug. 22-23 fundraiser.

Sunday, June 22, had a live A.C. church service in the activity room as well as livestreaming of the service at the church on the prairie available on channel 2. In addition, families from the Roanoke A.C. Church sang in the lobby after lunch. Thank you to all who supported these activities.
