Freshman Alassea Michel (Dunlap, Ill.-Dunlap) went 1-1 in singles. In the Green and White's last dual match, a 6-1 loss to North Park University, Saturday, Sept. 19, freshman Adia Douglas (Flossmoor, Ill.-Homewood-Flossmoor) collected the lone point for IWU with a win at No. 5 singles.
The Cardinals (1-2, 1-2 CCIW), prior to the ITA Regional, fell to Wheaton College, Wednesday, Sept. 23, 6-1 in a rematch of last year's CCIW Tournament title bout. NCC has won 10 straight over IWU, including a 6-1 win last season. Then-freshman Elana Religioso (Mahomet, Ill.-Mahomet-Seymour) secured the lone win for the Titans with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
