The McLean County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Business Excellence Award Nominations are now open. These awards presented at the Annual Gala, highlight the achievements and contributions of organizations and individuals who have made significant impacts on McLean County's business landscape and community.
Award Categories
The Chamber presents awards across multiple categories designed to recognize excellence in various aspects of business and community leadership:
- Small Business Excellence Award: The Small Business Excellence Award is presented to a member business that has achieved outstanding business performance, quality personalized service to customers and clients and business distinctiveness with 6 to 50 employees.
- Micro Business Excellence Award: The Micro Business Excellence Award is presented to a solopreneur or member business that has achieved outstanding business performance by providing quality personalized service to customers and clients and business distinctiveness with 5 employees or less.
- Large Business Excellence Award: The Large Business Excellence Award is presented to a member business that has achieved outstanding business performance through quality personalized service to customers and clients and business distinctiveness with 51 or more employees.
- New & Emerging Business Excellence Award: Eligible businesses must be new to McLean County and exhibit excellence in business practices, community service and employee relations. They’re a growing business that is making their mark in McLean County through engagement with the Chamber and other service organizations, providing new job opportunities, and have proven business growth. Eligible businesses must have 3 or more employees.
- Nonprofit Agency Excellence Award: The Nonprofit Agency Excellence Award honors an outstanding local 501(c)3 organization that demonstrates an ability to meet special community needs.
Nomination Process
Anyone in the community is welcome to nominate a business, organization, or individual for the Business Excellence Awards. Simply visit the Chamber’s website to submit your nomination and help recognize the outstanding contributions that make our local business community thrive.
The Annual Awards Gala
Winners are announced and celebrated at the annual Business Excellence Awards Gala, a premier event that brings together business leaders, community officials, and supporters from across McLean County. The formal evening affair provides an opportunity to recognize excellence while celebrating the local business community.
