Junior Volunteer, Gwyn Maher, was quite bummed when resident, Phyllis Choiniere, won the Minute to Win It match of Ping Pong Connect Four.
Monday, June 1, began with Morning Stretches in the activity room. A simple video was played on the smartboard while the group followed the different movements being instructed. National Nail Polish Day, June 1, was celebrated with Manicure Monday in the activity room shortly after. The ladies enjoyed getting their nails touched up with a fresh coat of polish along with some hand lotion at the end. That afternoon, the activity room was full of bingo players. The lucky Coverall winner at the end was resident, Woody Schoon, getting his choice between a large candy bar or Bingo Bucks. That evening, many enjoyed watching the livestreaming of the Apostolic Christian Church of Roanoke’s Vocation Bible School on activity channel 2. This year, the Vocation Bible School is surrounded around Psalm 23.
