The week kicked off with some Monday morning stretches, May 25, in the activity room. This was done with a simple workout video shown on the Smartboard and in the comfort of staying in their wheelchairs. Afterwards, a flower craft was completed in the activity room. Residents were each handed their own canvas along with cut, oval-shaped pieces of toilet paper rolls and tissue paper. The group then placed the toilet paper rolls in the shape of a flower and used the tissue paper to fill in the holes to add a pop of color. Some even took it a step further by using clear Elmer’s glue and glitter on the top to really make them sparkle. These projects were then shown off in the shadow boxes throughout the home.
