BLOOMINGTON, IL – Beginning on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, travel impacts will occur on Hershey Road, from north of Lamon Drive to GE Road, due to curb and gutter repairs, storm sewer inlet work, sidewalk and curb ramp improvements, and pavement patching. This work is being done to prepare for future roadwork on this road that will include milling, resurfacing, installing pavement markings, and other related work. Roadwork project schedules may change depending on weather and other factors.
While the street will be open to traffic, motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes until the project is complete. Hershey Road will be fully reopened as soon as the entire project is complete.
