Homeless shelters:

Salvation Army Safe Harbor:

• 208 N. Oak St., Bloomington. Shelter open 5 p.m.-8 a.m. for residents. Open for people who are residents or day center patrons but are not banned from the property or from receiving services. Emergency winter shelter open for residents until Oct. 15-March 31, providing additional beds and services. For those who aren't residents but need to get out of the cold, the Safety Net is open 10 p.m.-5:30 a.m. in the lobby, offering snacks, drinks, restrooms and blankets.

Home Sweet Home Ministries:

• 303 E. Oakland Ave., Bloomington, open 24 hours; The Junction at Home Sweet Home Ministries, 301 E. Oakland Ave., is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and welcomes anyone from the community in need of a place to warm up.

Project Oz:
