BLOOMINGTON - Yvette Rosen Kessler, Northbrook, died Sunday evening (Oct. 18, 2009) at home.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at the Jewish Cemetery, Business 55 (Veterans Parkway) and South Morris Avenue, Bloomington.
Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 500 W. Dearborn, Ste. 305, Chicago, IL 60654.
Yvette was born Dec.17, 1922, in Decatur, the daughter of Rosella and Max Rosen. She married Jack L. Kessler in 1943.
Her parents, sister and husband preceded her in death.
She leaves her devoted son, Sandy (Laurie) Kessler; her adoring daughter, Kathy Kessler (Jeffrey) Raskind; five grandchildren, Kimmy (Seth) Mindel, Kelly Kessler, Ryan Kessler, and Marc, Adam and Daniel Raskind; her twin great-grandchildren, Avery and Reece Mindel; her loving nieces, Beth Goldstein and Fran (Robert) Goldstein; nephew, Biff (Nancy) Goldstein; and her caring and loving caregiver and friend, Erena Daiauskiene.
