WASHINGTON - Wayne W. Vercler, 90, of 1200 E. Partridge, Apt. 40, Metamora, formerly of Washington, died at 3:01 p.m. Saturday (Jan.14, 2006) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Mennonite Church, Washington, the Rev. David Dillon and the Rev. John Plunkett officiating.
Burial: Glendale Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mason-White Funeral Home and a half hour prior to service at the church on Wednesday.
Survivors: his wife, Edna M. Eisele; one son, Richard (Brenda) Vercler, Washington; one brother, Harold (Alice) Vercler, Washington; one sister-in-law, May Vercler, Eureka; three grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandsons.
