SECOR - Virginia L. “Ginny” Colburn, 63, of 2197 CR 800N Road, Secor, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 17, 2006) at her residence.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. The Rev. Dick Piscatelli will officiate. Burial will be in Secor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Secor United Methodist Church. Virginia was born Dec. 6, 1942, at Eureka, a daughter of Roland and Mary Lawyer Hartman. She married Thomas R. Colburn on Feb. 14, 1965, at Secor. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Thomas L. (Kim) Colburn, Secor; her mother, Mary Green, El Paso; three sisters, Alice (Bob) Mool, Gridley; Dorothy (Len) Neisler, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Barb (J.R.) Anderson, Odell; two brothers, William (Jetty) Hartman, Roanoke, and David Green, Brooklyn, Ind.; three grandchildren, Brady, BrieAnna, and Madilyn; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roland; her stepfather, Charles Green; and a daughter, Jane McCarty.
Ginny was a member of Fairlakes Golf Club and played in the Ladies League. She along with her husband are members of the Farmers Club.
