BLOOMINGTON — Ronnie A. Little, 57, of 707 Jersey Ave., Apt. 3A, Bloomington, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday (June 27, 2006) at his residence. He had been ill.
His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, with the Rev. Fred Belcher officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, with military rites accorded. The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the memorial home.
Memorials may be made to the Veterans Administration Hospital or to OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Hospice Program.
He was born Sept. 19, 1948, at Bloomington, to William and Verla Bernice Martin Walter II. He married Brenda Gose in 1968, at Bloomington.
Surviving are two daughters, Stacey (Mike) Kauth, Colfax, and Susan Little, Snohomish, Wash.; and four sisters, Barbara (Lawrence) Sennello, Lake Bluff; Esther (Carl) Russell, Saunemin; and Joy (Roy) McNier and Nancy (Robert) Murphy, both of Bloomington.
His parents; one son, William Walter IV; and one brother, William Walter III, preceded him in death.
Ronnie had worked at Bridgestone Firestone, Bloomington, for 35 years.
He was a Vietnam veteran and obtained the rank of sergeant. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion.
