EL PASO - Robert F. Reinkensmeyer, 81, of El Paso passed away at 8:58 p.m. Friday (Oct. 9, 2009) surrounded by his family at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, El Paso.
He was born on April 6, 1928, in Centralia, a son of Frederick and Emma Kloeboeker. He married Doris Kemp on Oct. 22, 1950, at Trinity Lutheran Church, El Paso. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, David (Pat) Reinkensmeyer of Kappa; one daughter, Sandy (Randy) Heibenthal of Mahomet; three granddaughters, Stephanie (Roger) Langland, Kristen (Kevin) Wheatley and Erin (Chris) Kelley; three great-grandchildren, Cody and Taylor Langland and Kiersten Wheatley; and one sister, Pat Ryan of Minonk.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob was a laborer at Pfister Hybrid Corn Co. for many years.
He was an avid fisherman and gardener. Bob loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. The Rev. Marvin Matzke will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be at a later date.
