BLOOMINGTON — Penelope Ann Hotz, 84, of Bloomington, passed away at 12:45 p.m. March 23, 2017, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service with interment for both Penelope and Victor will be later this year at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington. Penelope was born May 2, 1932, in Chicago, a daughter of Edward and Ann Coleman. They preceded her in death. She married Victor P. Hotz in Chicago on Nov. 2, 1956. He preceded her Nov. 29, 2003.
Surviving are her children, Christopher Paul Hotz, Bloomington, and Kimberly Ann (David) Trachtenberg, Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Ashley Rose (Jeff) Rasmussen, Lombard; Dana Michelle (Nico) Apfelbaum, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and Jessica Kimberly (Nathanael) Gibson, Normal; great-grandchildren, Elijah Apfelbaum, Paige Gibson and Emelia Rasmussen.
Penelope was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly.
