ROBERTS — Mildred Cook Kottke, 103, of rural Roberts, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday (March 25, 2017) at Heartland Health Care Center, Paxton.
Her private graveside service will be at Lyman Township Cemetery, Roberts, with the Rev. Priscilla Geerdes officiating.
She was born Dec. 21, 1913, in Guthrie, a daughter of Ellis and Leone Houck Cook. She married Erwin Kottke on Sept. 1, 1930, in Kankakee County. He died in November 1963.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Adams, Roberts; a son, Neal Kottke, Chicago; two grandsons, Joe Adams, Roberts, and Glen Kottke, Clarendon Hills; a granddaughter, Morgan Kottke, Chicago; and two great-grandchildren, Rylee Kottke and Luke Kottke, both of Clarendon Hills.
She was preceded in death by three siblings, Delford Cook, Elma Cook Jacobs and Howard Cook.
Mildred and her family farmed near Roberts.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, is in charge of arrangements.
