PAXTON - Daniel A. Smith, 52, Paxton, died at 2:41 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 15, 2005) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, after a three-year illness.
Service: 1 p.m. Monday at theĀFord-Baier Funeral Home, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, with the Rev. Chet Travis officiating.
Burial: Belmont Cemetery, Watseka.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials: to a charity of the donor's choice.
Survivors: his mother, Louise Smith, Grand Junction, Colo.; two sons, Joshua C. Smith, Roberts, and Jerrod M. Smith, Paxton; one daughter, Nichole L. Smith, Urbana; two brothers, Richard W. Smith Jr., Hoopeston, and Kevin W. Smith, Grand Junction, Colo.; and one sister, Brenda Schlutter, Grand Junction, Colo.
