Normal woman charged with meth delivery

Jamie J. Powell, 35, of Normal, was sentenced to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of unlawful delivery of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine.

BLOOMINGTON – A methamphetamine charge is pending for a Normal woman.

Jamie Powell, 35, is accused of delivering less than 5 grams of meth to a Bloomington police vice unit on Thursday, prosecutors said, charging her with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a class 2 felony.

She was jailed in lieu of posting $5,135. An arraignment is scheduled for April 16.
