Normal man in custody on heroin charge

Wesley F. Turner, 41, of Normal, is charged with unlawful delivery of heroin.

BLOOMINGTON — A drug delivery charge is pending for a Normal man.

Wesley F. Turner, 41, faces one count of heroin delivery, a Class 2 felony, however, according to court documents, a “mandatory Class X sentencing (is) applicable” due to his prior record.

The alleged offense reportedly happened Sept. 15, 2020.

Turner was jailed in lieu of posting $10,035. An arraignment is scheduled for 9 a.m. March 5.

Terrell Gage was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Friday, and on Saturday he was charged in McLean County court with four Class 1 felony counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, four Class 2 felony counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and one Class 3 felony count of unlawful possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver.
