Bond set for Normal man charged with domestic battery

BLOOMINGTON — Bond was set Thursday for a Normal man accused of dragging and strangling a woman.

Dana S. Anderson, 32, is charged with aggravated domestic battery, two counts of domestic battery and one count of criminal trespass to property.

Dana S. Anderson, of Normal, was sentenced to two years in prison for domestic battery causing bodily harm. He was first charged with aggravated domestic battery, two counts of domestic battery and one count of criminal trespass to property. He pleaded guilty to one count of domestic battery and the other charges were dismissed.

He remains jailed in lieu of posting $2,535 following a domestic violence risk assessment.

Anderson was previously ordered to have no contact with the victim or her residence.

An arraignment remains scheduled for June 11.
