Bloomington man charged for two 2019 drug deliveries

BLOOMINGTON — A Bloomington man has been charged in connection with two drug deliveries that authorities say took place in 2019.

Alejandro Alvarez, 23, is accused of selling methamphetamine and MDMA on separate occasions in November and December 2019 to the McLean County Sheriff’s Department criminal investigation division, police said.

A warrant for his arrest was issued July 8 and it was returned Sunday.

Alvarez was jailed in lieu of posting $5,035. An arraignment is scheduled for April 30.
