BLOOMINGTON — Two Bloomington residents are in custody, following their arrests after police seized drugs and a handgun from a residence on East Market Street.

Robert A. Monroe, 38, faces multiple counts of manufacturing/delivery of drugs. He also is accused of unlawful use of a weapon/possession of firearm by a felon on parole.

Angelic M. Bracey, 50, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and permitting unlawful use of a building.

The arrests were made as Bloomington Police Department's vice and street crimes units were concluding a drug investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics, the department said on Friday.

A search warrant was served in the 800 block of East Market Street, where $1,425 in cash, a handgun, four grams of cocaine and evidence of drug distribution were seized as evidence, said BPD.

Monroe and Bracey were taken to the McLean County jail. Monroe is being held in lieu of $50,035. Bracey was released on a $20,000 personal recognizance bond.
