University High School graduate Phil Hamilton scored three goals and assisted on another as the Hawks rebounded from a tough loss Saturday with a 10-0 win over Kankakee Community College on Sunday at the U High soccer field.
Javier Torres added two goals and an assist for Heartland (7-2-1) while Steve Carlson had a goal and two assists. Chris Wallace, Dan Broadbent, Matt McClure and Austin Eichelberger also scored for the Hawks.
Lucas Manieri (1 save) and Wallace (2 saves) combined on the shutout as Heartland outshot Kankakee 15-3.
