BLOOMINGTON -- A 25-year-old Bloomington man was charged Thursday after police said they found drugs and weapons Wednesday in a search at his southwest Bloomington home.

Joshua M. Williams, most recently of Strawflower Lane, was charged in McLean County Circuit Court with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Police said they also plan to file paperwork to seek federal weapons charges.

At his home, detectives reported finding 93 grams of cocaine, 84 grams of marijuana, a loaded MAC-10 assault weapon, a loaded .32-caliber handgun, a .45-caliber handgun, drug packaging material, and $7,749 cash, police said.

The arrest resulted from a "long-term drug investigation," according to police.

Williams was jailed in lieu of posting $200,000 until a July 10 court date.

In court documents, Williams also listed a nearby Barnacle Lane address, but police said he'd been staying at the Strawflower Lane home at the time of his arrest.
