ST. CHARLES - Authorities are investigating whether a text-messaging suburban mother bullied her daughter's ex-boyfriend by threatening to post nude photos of him online.
The boy's parents told police in the small northern Illinois village of Sleepy Hollow that the 42-year-old Elgin woman sent their son hundreds of e-mails and text messages after the teenagers broke up.
The boy and girl - both 13 - had traded nude self-portraits by cell phone. After they split, the girl's mother allegedly told the boy she would post the pictures of him online unless he started seeing her daughter again.
No charges have been filed. Kane County prosecutors say they're reviewing the case.
Investigators are analyzing cell phones and computers seized from the girl's home and school.
