WOODSTOCK - Authorities say the former technology director for a northern Illinois school district has been charged with a misdemeanor after allegedly asking a 17-year-old girl to act in an adult film.

Police said Wednesday that 23-year-old Michael Kolb of Woodstock is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

He was arrested Nov. 12 after the girl told police Kolb allegedly confronted her twice about the movie.

In the second confrontation, Kolb allegedly pulled her into a room in Alden-Hebron High School in Hebron and told her she'd have to audition with him.

Superintendent Debbie Ehlenburg says Kolb resigned Tuesday.

A telephone for Kolb in Woodstock is unlisted.

The charge is punishable by a maximum 30 days in the county jail and a $1,500 fine.
