PEKIN - The Grys family of Pekin will be featured Jan. 11 on "Extreme Makeover Home Edition," which airs on ABC-TV.

The show, at 7 p.m., will cover the building of the Grys' house. The family is deeply involved in Special Olympics, the year-round sports program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Three of the children are Special Olympics athletes, including Jake, 8, who also has brittle bone dis-ease.

Their father, Stephen Grys, has coached Special Olympics for 25 years. Several of his adult children also are Special Olympics coaches.
