PONTIAC - A Pontiac man is charged with aggravated battery after allegedly cutting his girlfriend's father with a box cutter. Scott Rutledge, 29, remains in custody in the Livingston County jail in lieu of posting $10,000.
Court document said Rutledge cut his girlfriend's father on the left cheek during a physical altercation. Rutledge was arrested at the Mill Street Tap, 316 N. Mill Street Friday shortly before 11 p.m. A bar owner who witnessed the altercation stated that the victim had been stabbed with a box cutter, the document said.
