Vehicle stolen from BroMenn parking lot

Someone stole a 1989 white 4-door Buick from a parking lot of BroMenn Regional Medical Center at the intersection of Virginia and Franklin Avenues Aug. 2 between 2 p.m. and 10:57 p.m., a Normal police report said. The 24-year-old woman who owned the car told police the driver's side door does not lock.

Theft - Someone stole four tires and four chrome rims from a car in the 1600 block of Frontier Drive between 1 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 2, a Normal police report said. The22-year-old female who owns the vehicle told police she found the car on concrete blocks and the tires were only one month old.

Burglary - The Bloomington Parks and Recreation City Hall annex at 1020 S. Morris was burglarized Aug. 3 between midnight and 7:30 a.m., a Bloomington police report said. Someone broke a window and stole concession stand food and boxes of candy. Sgt. Tim McCoy said there have been no arrests and there are no suspects.

Residential burglary - Someone entered an unlocked door of an apartment in the 1700 block of Putnam Aug. 2 and stole a 20-year-old man's Sony playstation, a Normal police report said. The playstation is valued at $500.

Man charged with aggravated battery of pregnant woman

A Bloomington man is charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant person. Jeremy Burkhart, 21, of the 2800 block of Dodge Drive, remains in custody in lieu of posting $3,000. He has been ordered not to have contact with his alleged victim.

Court documents said he allegedly grabbed a woman by the arm in his home when she intervened in an argument that he was having with another woman. After the alleged victim told him she was pregnant, he allegedly threw her on the couch and climbed on top of her and assaulted her belly with his knees. Normal police arrested him Aug. 2.

Retail theft - A homeless man is charged with two counts of felony retail theft. David Hall, 45, remains in custody in lieu of posting $1,500.

Court document said Hall entered a Jewel store on July and July 25 and each time placed bottles of liquor valued over $150 into backpack and left without paying. Court documents said Hall confessed to the thefts.
