The indictments follow Evans' arrest last month related to the Aug. 15 alleged possession of a stolen vehicle and accusations that he burglarized a Bloomington police lieutenant's home Aug. 13.
The five new counts involve homes burglarized between Aug. 13 and 15 in Bloomington and Normal.
Evans remains in custody in lieu of posting $5,000.
A status hearing is set for Sept. 26.
