Joint venture: In one of the more offbeat offerings on the Central Illinois fall concert slate, Brazil's Orquestra de Sao Paulo, conducted by 29-year-old wunderkind Kazem Abdullah, will join forces with England's celebrated Dame Evelyn Glennie, the hearing-impaired percussionist who was the subject of the widely seen 2004 documentary feature, "Touch the Sound," in which her musicality was revealed to be as much about literally feeling the rhythm as hearing it.
