SPRINGFIELD - The grandstand concert lineup for this year's Illinois State Fair features an Illinois native, country music star Gretchen Wilson.

The native of Pocahontas in rural Bond County is slated to perform on opening day of the fair, Aug. 10.

The grandstand lineup announced Tuesday also includes "American Idol" alumnus Chris Daughtry on Aug. 12 and the Grammy Award-winning band Sugarland on Aug. 19, the closing day of the fair.

A teen-pop show on Aug. 11 will feature Corbin Bleu, co-star of the Disney Channel movie "High School Musical," and Drake Bell of Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh."

A concert by country singer Martina McBride on Aug. 17 was announced previously.

A free concert by the Illinois Symphony will be on Aug. 13. Three nights of harness racing begin on Aug. 14.

Tickets to grandstand concerts go on sale April 28, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
