NORMAL - NV Ultra Lounge, 107 E. Beaufort St., is being sold but its new owners only plan additions to the business, not subtractions.
Twin City developer and current owner Harry Fuller said the sale of the lounge to SKAR Enterprises will be effective Wednesday. Fuller will retain ownership of the building.
Fuller also will continue to maintain offices for his other business, Fuller Communications, on the second floor of the accompanying building that houses Emack & Bolio's on the first floor.
He said the sale will allow him to focus on Fuller Communications, which also has an office at 105 W. Jefferson St., in downtown Bloomington. The Bloomington office will be remodeled and Fuller said he intends to hire as many as 100 more people for the telemarketing business.
Meanwhile, Fuller said SKAR partners Paul Skar, Mark Shepard and Seth Shepard will "enhance the operation of NV Ultra Lounge with their decade of management experience" and likely will bring back lunch service.
Neither Skar nor the Shepards could be reached for comment. A request by SKAR Enterprises for a liquor license for the business will be considered by the Normal Liquor Commission on Monday.
