Coliseum adds gospel show; Peoria postpones Twitty musical

An addition has been made to the U.S. Cellular Coliseum’s schedule and a subtraction from the Peoria Civic Center’s weekend lineup. | MULTIMEDIA: Check out the latest Coliseum financial numbers
New to the Coliseum slate is a 7 p.m. March 13 concert by the long-running Bill Gaither gospel caravan known as the Gaither Homecoming.
Tickets for the Homecoming’s latest tour, “Lovin’ Life,” are priced at $22.50 to $42.50, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 20 at the Coliseum box office and area Ticketmaster locations.
In addition to the tour’s founding father, Bill Gaither, the lineup includes the Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Janet Paschal, Gordon Mote, Ben Speer and other artists to be announced (all are subject to change).
Meanwhile, this weekend’s Peoria performance of the nationally touring Conway Twitty musical, “It’s Only Make Believe,” has been postponed to next spring.
Originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Peoria Civic Center Theater, the show will now be performed in the venue at 7 p.m. March 22.
Tickets purchased for this weekend’s show may be used for the rescheduled date. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase.
