What about us younger folk? wrote on Apr 26, 2007 6:18 PM:

" Not everyone is a fan of country music, so where are the rock bands? On the rare occaison that the fair books them it's always some group from my folks' or grandfolks' generation. How about some of the rock bands that came out after the 60's to 80's once in awhile. Velvet Revolver was the first band I came to see at the fair and it looks like they may be the last. I hear gripes all the time about the low turn outs for the fair but you don't give me a reason to want to come. "

" Amen, brother. Might as well have a chimp riding a tricycle onstage for 2 hours. Where's Grand Funk Railroad when you need 'em? "
